Australian Energy Market Operator's Annual Report

Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) contacted us to consult on their 2016 Annual Report. This project came with a common request we hear today, ‘can we have a digital version too?’ We relished the opportunity to bring the content to life.

Time to prioritise

With the print content approved, it was time to consider how AEMO’s text heavy report would be translated into the digital environment. With a multitude of varying highlights to represent, we worked in close consultation with AEMO to prioritise key areas based on content, relativity and the digital landscape.

With a green light for digital content we began wireframing the website. Distributing the information into modules over a single page with infinite scroll. This allowed the data to be revealed as the reader scrolled through the site, creating an intuitive user experience.
