’Til The Cows Come Home ('Til The Cows) are an Australian-registered not-for-profit that transforms the lives of unwanted farm animals through rescuing, rehoming, and promoting a kinder, more compassionate world. An entire year in the making, this brand identity and website refresh made us jump for joy.

Looking to grow their exposure and become a household name, ‘Til The Cows repositioned their brand, look and feel and website to align with their values and goals. The aim was to create a fresh, warm brand with lots of heart, putting their beloved animals at the centre, while maintaining a humble, grassroots legacy. A gelato-inspired colour palette, playful and organic type, and a heart-warming, hand-drawn illustration suite bring ‘Til The Cows new identity to life.

From merchandise like t-shirts, tote bags and badges, to social media tiles, EDMs and posters, ‘Til The Cows wanted to share their new look and feel far and wide (in other words… ’til the cows came come!). Art-directed by U-bahn, our photographer Andrew Craig captured photos of some of the friendly faces behind the charity, working his magic behind the lens, even bravely navigating the pig pen. Naturally, the next step was a redevelopment of ‘Til The Cows’ website, including a complete re-design showcasing the new brand, photography, and soon to be video footage, captured by our friends from Second Breakfast Agency.

From wire framing, IA, UI/UX to build and handover, the new website delivers on a number of key requirements and functionality for the charity, including donation portals, available for adoption pages and application forms, as well as some more feel-good elements like animal adoption and foster carer stories, blogs and case studies.

It’s safe to say their refreshed brand identity and website is a celebration of all the incredible work ‘Til The Cows continue to do in the space of farm animal fostering and rehoming, with a vision for all animals to be treated as companions, rather than commodities.
