This was a task we were delighted to be a part of as it speaks for issues close to our heart. Through close consultation with VTAC and the Commissioner we produced a logo that represented what was at the core of a Treaty for Victoria – Australia’s First People.
This campaign is proudly endorsed by Richmond Football Club, and was stamped on their 2019 Dreamtime Guernsey, signifying the clubs commitment to Treaty advancement. (Main image by Quinn Rooney)
Seeing the Treaty for Victoria logo brushed onto the ground at Punt Road oval was a surreal moment.
We take our hats off to the incredible staff over at the Victorian Treaty Advancement Commission, paving the way for Treaty for Victoria.
Treaties are necessary to recognise historic wrongs and to promote fundamental human rights.
It is not about blame, but about stating the facts, and attempting to right the wrongs for a better future.
